At Ao Dai by Cute Sass, we celebrate this traditional outfit with a modern twist, making it accessible to everyone through our size-inclusive range, reasonable prices, and fast, reliable shipping methods.

Ao Dai by Cute Sass is proud to be America’s first and most size-inclusive Áo Dài brand, offering styles from S to 10XL for women and men (petite to US Plus Size). Our mission is to help Vietnamese Americans and others connect with Vietnamese culture through mainstream and inclusive cultural wear.

3. How do I select the right size for my Áo Dài?

5. How can I try on an Áo Dài before purchasing?

We offer in-person showroom appointments in Placentia, CA. This allows you to feel the fabric and fit before making a decision. Book your appointment online at https://aodaibycutesass.com/collections/bookings. The exact address will be provided after you book the appointment.

6. What should I bring to my appointment?

For the best look under your Áo Dài, we recommend:

• Women: Nude, seamless undergarments to maintain the silhouette.
• Men: A thin, neutral-colored shirt, paired with slacks and dress shoes.

Feel free to bring any accessories you plan to wear with the outfit to see the complete look.

For general questions, please use our 24/7 chat support or refer to the links and descriptions provided on our pages. For specific order inquiries only, please email us at info@aodaibycutesass.com to avoid delays in processing orders.

9. Where can I place an order?

The best way to order an Áo Dài is directly through our website at aodaibycutesass.com. This ensures you have access to the widest range of inventory and sizes available.

We are also available on Etsy and Amazon Prime.

10. If I need an item by a certain date, how far in advance should I order?

To ensure your Áo Dài arrives on time, please place your order at least 10-14 days in advance if you are located in the US. If you plan to exchange the item, add at least 2 additional weeks. Note that while we do our best to meet these timelines, exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed as packages are handled by the carrier. Please add an additional 3-4 weeks if you are located outside the US.

11. Can I cancel my order?

We are unable to cancel orders once they have been placed. We encourage you to review your order carefully before submitting it.

12. Can I make changes to my order?

We strive to process orders as quickly as possible, which means we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order is placed (e.g., changing sizes, styles, addresses, combining packages).

If you need to make changes, please contact our customer service team immediately after placing your order at info@aodaibycutesass.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, changes are not guaranteed.

13. Can I swap out the pants that come in a set?

Unfortunately, if the items come in a set, we do not swap out pants. However, we do carry pants that are sold separately.

14. There are red marks on my Ao Dai, are these defects?

No, these red marks are not defects. They are temporary chalk marks used by our tailors during the making of your Ao Dai to ensure precision in cutting and sewing. These marks can be easily removed by gently washing the fabric according to the care instructions provided.

15. Can I bring my pet to the showroom when I come to try on an Áo Dài?

We love pets, but for the comfort and safety of all our guests, pets are not allowed in the showroom.

16. Is your showroom open on the weekends?

Our showroom is currently not open on weekends. Please visit us during our regular business hours Monday through Friday via appointments.

17. Can I pay for a pre-order with a gift card?

Gift card is not a supported payment method for pre-orders.

Shipping and Returns

18. How long does it take to receive my order?

Ready-to-wear items are typically shipped within 3-5 business days. Pre-order items are shipped within 3-4 weeks, unless otherwise noted, under pre-ordering terms. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been shipped.

The estimated delivery time is determined by the carrier, based on your location and the mail class you selected at checkout. You also have the option to select a faster mailing class if you need your order sooner.

19. Are shipping and customs fees included for orders to Canada and Australia?

Shipping and custom fees to Canada and Australia are not included. Customers are responsible for shipping and any custom fees incurred.

20. What is your return policy?

We offer store credit returns. For more details, visit our Return page.

21. Why isn't my tracking updated yet?

Tracking information may take up to 24-48 hours on business days to update once your order has been shipped. During busy periods like the Lunar New Year, carriers may experience delays in updating the tracking information. Please allow some time for the system to update.

22. Can you guarantee delivery times?

While we strive to ensure your order arrives in time for special occasions, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to variables that are outside our control, such as carrier delays, especially during this high-volume period. We recommend placing your orders by the advised deadline and checking the estimated delivery window at checkout for the best approximation of when your ao dai will arrive.
