On April 17, 2025, we celebrated a huge milestone in our brand’s journey: the expansion of our HQ and warehouse. With the unwavering support of the families and friends in our community, we felt inspired to do something meaningful.
To mark this exciting new chapter, we hosted our very first Diaper Drive at our HQ in Placentia, California. This event was definitely a special one for the books filled with love, little ones, and the community bonding that reminds us why we do what we do.
Why a Diaper Drive?
As a woman and mother founded brand, organizing a diaper drive has been a dream of our founder, Sophia, for many years. Parenthood is beautiful, but it’s also challenging as diapers are one of the most essential yet expensive parts of that journey.
Many families face diaper insecurity every month. We wanted to help close the diaper gap as best as we can to lift that financial burden during these economically challenging times.
This wasn’t just about giving away diapers but also showing up for the parents, caregivers, and children out there with support and love. Hosting this drive was our way of celebrating the core of our mission: growing cultural and community connections.
Behind the Scenes
The motivation for hosting a diaper drive came right after our busiest Tết season yet. With your incredible support, we were able to expand into a second warehouse space, and almost immediately, we knew we wanted to do something meaningful with it.
Our team quickly got to work organizing over 7,000 diapers, preparing them for distribution based on the sizes families had requested ahead of time. Our marketing team shared the news to various outlets to reach as many families as possible, from OfferUp, popular Facebook Forums like Subtle Viet Traits and Buy Nothing Pages, to even Facebook Marketplace! Friends and partners of the brand graciously helped share our Diaper Drive flyer on Instagram to spread the word with their communities.
We transformed our new waiting lounge into a welcoming, family-friendly check-in space where we loaded up all the diapers for the big day. We wanted to make this a meaningful AND seamless experience for our community to help out the families with busy and chaotic schedules.
3 Days Full of Diapers
As soon as the big day began, families began rolling up outside our HQ full of excitement and anticipation. Many of them arrived with strollers and diaper bags, even bringing their babies along to experience the day with them. Our highlight of these days were seeing the cute babies.
Throughout the event, we distributed thousands of diapers to hundreds of families, with sizes available from NB to Size 5. Customers and community members even stopped by with donations, helping us make an even greater difference. Our team was on hand to welcome every guest, distribute diaper packs, and getting to know everyone’s stories.
Community Impact
We were deeply touched by the conversations we had with families throughout the day. Parents shared how difficult it can be to afford basic necessities like diapers, and how much even a small gesture like this can make a difference in their month.
These stories showed us that real community connections start when when you show up for others with care. We hope being the voices for these families will bring more awareness and inspire our community to lend a helping hand.
A Moment to Remember
This diaper drive was an absolute dream come true for our team. Seeing families walk away with diapers, smiles, and a sense of belonging was incredibly moving.
