Beautiful and Traditional with Important Sizing Notes

The Nhu Y Mom and Daughter Red and Gold Butterflies Matching Áo Dài Set 8D is stunning. The red and gold butterfly design is bold, elegant, and perfect for special occasions. Visually, this set truly stands out and feels rich in tradition and meaning.

That said, fit is something to be mindful of. I am 4'11" and top heavy, and because this style has a high collar and no stretch in the fabric, the extra large did not work for me. For this particular design, sizing up to an XXL would be the better choice to accommodate the collar and bust area comfortably.

Proportion wise, while an XXL works for the top, I would ideally need a smaller size for the pants due to my height. Since the set is sold as one size, this means tailoring the pants is likely necessary, which I understand from a business standpoint but does add an extra step.

I also purchased the matching set for my niece, and while the design is beautiful, kids tend to find high collars restrictive. Personally, I appreciate the elegance and structure of a high collar. The sleeves are designed with a wider cut rather than a fitted shape, which gives the overall look a more modern feel and allows for easier movement.
